Dowshan Humzah has delivered innovation and profitable growth for many blue-chip companies and is now growing a number of digital ventures. He leads business development for The Worst Kept Secret and delivers strategy consultancy and bespoke training – showing how organisations can benefit from applying a digital lens across their core business objectives to generate customer and financial value.
Having graduated from The London School of Economics majoring in Accounting and Finance, Dowshan has held business building roles for a range of companies. He began his career in Brand Management with Procter & Gamble where he launched HUGO by Hugo Boss in the UK. He then moved to Orange – heading up International Products delivering significant revenue growth. After that he moved to ntl (Virgin Media) and as Director of Marketing, Planning and Strategy – helped them become the UK’s largest broadband provider as well as delivering the next generation product strategy. Most recently, he was Business Transformation Director at Royal & SunAlliance – having started as Product Director for their retail insurance brand ‘More Than’.
Dowshan has an entrepreneurial flair having worked in start-ups (such as a VC backed online car importing service and a privately funded TV channel). He also co-founded and is a Non-Executive Director of a digital production studio in India delivering visual effects and animation. He has also provided marketing and business development consultancy for a variety of organisations including VC firms, a premiership football club and media agencies. He is a strong advocate of education as a former Governor of a London school and a business mentor.
