Lucy is a digital PR and media and communications professional.
With TWKS, she is focused on building the competence, comfort and confidence of secondary school teachers to use digital and social media across all aspects of the curriculum to better engage pupils and deliver ‘outstanding’ teaching.
She gained her Bachelors degree in Film and Video from The London College of Communication.
Her first professional role was as a producer in a film co-operative based in Spitalfields. Since then her accomplishments have included working as a Script Reader for a movie producer and authoring a book on film-making for the British Film Institute.
She then moved into teaching as a Media Studies specialist. Whilst teaching, she completed her Masters degree in Cultural Studies at Goldsmith’s College. With her growing interest in digital media, she wrote her dissertation on education and technology.
She worked for ten years at Bishop Challoner School in the East End of London at Key Stage 4 and 5 delivering both the vocational and academic curriculum.
